From the moment I met Betsy I loved her to pieces. Seriously. Just being around her infectious personality made me smile so big it actually made my cheeks hurt. When I found out that she was engaged, I just KNEW it would be fun to document every step of the way. I had heard so many great things about her hunk, Jason that I couldn't wait to meet him in person. As I suspected, he too had a warm smile and it felt like I'd known him as long as I'd known Betsy. They are simply made for each other.

They met teaching at Lake Highland Prep and had their first date at Paddy Murphy's Irish Pub in Baldwin Park. Needless to say, that's where we spent the late afternoon yesterday for their engagement shoot! The owner of Paddy Murphy's was incredibly generous and helpful. He let us do pretty much anything we wanted to do, including changing his sign and taking over the bar. Needless to say, we had a blast!

Allow me to introduce you to the tiniest fan of Ihnenfeld Photography! Landen made his way into this world two months early (much to the surprise of his Mom and Dad) and I had the pleasure of meeting him on his second day home from the hospital almost a month after his birthday.

He is just as sweet and snuggly as he could possibly be and I almost forgot I had to actually take his picture instead of snuggle with him all day! He's got a full head of hair, the sweetest little face, and is shockingly strong for being so tiny. Landen tips the scales at just a hair over four pounds and, when swaddled, he fit perfectly in the palm of my hand. Oh, how he melted my heart!!

In going through the images from Becky & Andy's wedding, I came across this one of Becky that I HAD to post while I work on the others . . . just to make you want to see more!!!

Oh, how I L-O-V-E this little man!

Oftentimes it's good to know that you're not alone in the craziness of day-to-day life--ESPECIALLY when you are the parents of twins. It's one thing to have two children close in age, but it's a COMPLETELY different story to have two that are the EXACT SAME age! And this is why I feel totally at home in the Albert household =).

Bobby and Benjamin turned 2-years-old last weekend and visiting them was like taking a trip to my house 6 months ago! They are hilarious, crazy, sweet, full of energy, and so much fun to play with. They have fine-tuned their own little personalities and know for sure what they want to do with their day. They love books (Benjamin CRACKED-UP when I read Pajama Time!), Baby Einstein, the ABC song, and their big, extended family. What more could you ask for in two little boys?

We spent the morning yesterday exploring outside around the family home (and the very generous neighbor's yard, too). And as with all 2-year-old photo shoots, we just sort of went with the flow!

This is a very emotional blog entry for me to post. It seems like only yesterday that Booker came into our lives and we were forever changed for the better. I was teaching 7th grade at the time and part way through the year, a little boy with a smile the could light up the entire school, got transferred to my class. I don't remember the exact date, but I do know for certain that was the day that forever changed our lives.

Now he is graduating high school and heading off to college and I can't believe it. I just can't believe it. We are so proud of him and all that he's accomplished. He is kind, thoughtful, hard-working, and just an all-around good person, destined to do amazing things with his life. And I can't wait to be there to see him do it all! We love you Booker and we are so thankful that you are a part of our family.

Last but not least, my favorite one from the day:

Mr. William is nearly 18 months old and so full of personality that I just can't stand it! We spent the afternoon running around Baldwin Park trying to get him to sit still enough (long enough) to capture all of his little personality. He is still in love with flowers and is such a sweetie about sharing those he picks. AND! He's still quite the bird whisperer! The moment he came near the water, ducks of all ages came over to say hello.

To say there were a MILLION baby frogs around the pond would be a gross understatement! If I didn't know any better, I would have thought a biblical plague was coming!

And last, but not least . . . my first attempt at this type of picture . . . I sure hope it works!

What do you get when you combine brilliance, wit, athleticism, and a great family? (Ooh, Ooh, OOOH . . . pick me, PICK ME!?) You get Malachi Tisch . . . that's what you get!

Somehow, everything this young man touches seems to turn to gold. He plays multiple sports, maintains nearly perfect grades, and surrounds himself with great friends and family. He was accepted into UCF's Mechanical Engineering Program and will be competing on the state level this weekend in high jump (trying to beat his best jump of nearly 6'8"). INSANE!

Two years ago I shot his older brother Cooper's senior pictures and I was thrilled when I got the call to do Malachi's! We spent Saturday afternoon running around Downtown Winter Garden acting a little crazy (thanks Malachi, for being such a good sport with my antics) and getting some really great shots to document his senior year. Between the "eyebrow" and Mom's rocks/mulch/random other things she found to throw, Malachi, you make one heck of a model!

It's official. I'm in denial. Total denial. How in the world is it possible that my little 7th graders are now graduating from high school???

It seems like only yesterday Alyssa came into my Language Arts class, a sweet, bright-eyed, hard-working, little girl and now she is all grown up and an absolutely STUNNING young lady. She is still just as sweet as she was back then (thanks to a terrific family) and her bright eyes will stop you dead in your tracks. Oh, how I love this girl!

I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorite pictures, so this post might be a tad bit longer than normal . . . OH, WELL! I hope you guys love these images as much as I do!

It seems like yesterday I was at the hospital just hours after this little guy came into the world and now he is ONE! OHMYGOODNESS! For those of you with little ones, you know that ONE can be a bit of a challenging age. They know exactly what they want, but can't say it just yet. They are big enough to take steps, but not big enough to move fast enough to keep up. And they are cute enough to melt your heart just before you pull your hair out from the frustration of having a one-year-old!

I don't know how it's possible, but Jackson has gotten even cuter since our last session! He loves tissues and brooms and stacking things HIS way . . . Oh, how I love this very serious little guy!
